Riptide Tattoo opened in Marina Del Rey in July 2009 from the vision of shop owner, Kevin Hinton.  Kevin's first tattoo shop was Old Glory Tattoo of Venice Beach.  After 5 years of awards, providing excellent service and obtaining great clients, it was time to expand.  With over 20 years of tattooing and 5 years as a tattoo shop owner, he is equipped to make this shop even better.  Joining the shop are some of the most talented tattoo artists in LA.

Old Glory Tattoo has been re-branded to Riptide Tattoo and re-located to Marina Del Rey.  Just a few blocks away from the original shop; still steps from the beach but with over 600 sq ft of space, there is room to host 4 additional artists.  They have put their touch on Riptide Tattoo by stepping away from the traditional tattoo parlor look and into the "artist owned" tattoo shop.  Gain inspiration by the variation of artistic works exhibited, an extensive reference library, plus custom stainless steel work stations.  There is plenty of space for clients to consult with their artist and gain inspiration.  See you soon!
